Oruvo is a Brazilian company building decision infrastructure for problems where context, evidence, constraints and consequence must remain connected.
Origin / language
Oruvo is not an acronym.
The form uruvú is attested in the Cippus Abellanus, a second-century BCE inscription in the Oscan language, in a passage concerning territory, a road and boundaries between communities.
Its exact philological interpretation is neither simple nor universally settled. Oruvo therefore does not present uruvú as a literal translation of “amplitude”. The name works as a historical reference to a field where extension, limits, passage and order must coexist.
Governed Amplitude is our contemporary synthesis: expand the field of possibility without dissolving context, authority or consequence.
Historical note: the occurrence of uruvú in the Cippus Abellanus is documented; its precise interpretation remains a matter of philological reading. Oruvo treats the relationship as an origin reference, not a direct lexical equivalence.
